What is Tajweed?
Tajweed means saying each letter of the Quran the right way. When reading the Quran, you have to be very careful to say every sound just right. Tajweed teaches you how to say each letter correctly and clearly. With good tajweed, you read the way Allah wants!
In this class, you’ll learn some tricky advanced tajweed rules. We’ll help you master them so you become a tajweed superstar! Your Quran recitation will be amazing and touch people’s hearts when they hear the words of Allah.
Fun Rules for Noon Sakinah and Tanween
Two cool rules you’ll learn are noon sakinah and tanween. Noon sakinah is when you see the letter ‘n’ with a little circle on top. That means the ‘n’ has no vowel. Tanween is when you see two little marks called fathas, kasras or dhammas over a letter at the end of a word.
There are super specific ways to say both noon sakinah and tanween. You have to pronounce them just right to tell them apart from other letters. We’ll practice them a ton so you become an expert!
Exciting Lam Alifs (Laam of Allah)
Lam alifs are also very fun to learn. Lam alifs happen when you see the letter ‘lam’ followed by the letter ‘alif’ together, like in the word Allah! There are special tajweed tips for saying lam and alif smoothly together in one beautiful sound.
You’ll learn cool skills like iqlab, ikhfa, idgham and more. We’ll teach you how to pronounce lam alifs perfectly, whether they are at the beginning, middle or end of an aayah from the Quran. The lam alifs will flow off your tongue when you read!
Become a Quran Recitation Master
By the end of the Advance Tajweed course, you’ll be an expert at reading the entire Quran with excellent tajweed. You’ll know all the important rules by heart. Your recitation will sound amazing!
